92 Degrees - Perfect coffee at the perfect temperature

Located just moments away from the canal, 92 Degrees offers the finest flat whites, lattes and long blacks, with coffee shops in Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, and Southport. Partnering with local businesses, working with independent food suppliers, and showcasing local talent sets them apart from most other coffee shops, and helps build the community surrounding the cafe.

Not only that, but they firmly believe in being people-powered, and have designed the space to enable connections. 92 Degrees are as eco-friendly as possible, using only husk cups, and non-greenwashed coffee, and 10% of every bag of coffee bought goes directly to Project Waterfall.

Northern Monk Refectory - 20 Taps of Fresh Beer with a stunning garden

The beginnings of Northern Monk go back to 2008 when Russ Bissest had the brainchild of creating a true northern brewery, but it wasn’t till 2013 when Russ met the head brewer Brian Dickson, that it started to come to life. Starting off in a small damp cellar in Bradford, and selling at local farmers markets, their beer began to get traction and found its home in the The Old Flax Store, where the Refectory and brewery still thrives.

Northern Monk Refectory LDS is located in Grade II listed mill in Holbeck, Leeds, the spiritual home of the industrial revolution in the city. The bar hosts its brewery and 20 on-tap beers.

The refectory is perfect for summer, boasting a large and popular beer garden, and an impressive menu built by local food traders. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to taste award-winning Pale Ales and IPAs, with stunning food to partner with.

Bomba - A Taste of Spain

If you fancy something a little different, we recommend checking out Bomba, specialising in authentic paella and classic tapas dishes, all cooked to order. Sitting in the middle of the area, it offers easy access to plenty of spots for after-dinner drinks, though it is unlikely you’ll want to move on with their sunny terrace making it an ideal spot for early evening fun.

It’s not just dinner that you can stop in for, they also offer an incredible Bottomless brunch every Saturday where you can enjoy unlimited sangria, beer, wine and cava, and an incredible deli, allowing you to order traditional Spanish ingredients, Bocadillos and paella kits for home.

Chow Down - Street food all summer long

Boasting an incredible selection of independent and local food and drink traders, including Braizin’ Squad and Northern Monk Brewery, Chow Down runs throughout the summer and is located just off Globe Road in Temple Arches.

Newly refurbished for 2023, the venue brings together incredible food and drink, across themed seating areas, all while you can enjoy various events, ranging from Dog Socials, where your furry friends can join you in the revelry, Bing Lingo, and Battle of the Burger. It’s sure to be a staple of an incredible summer.

Salt Leeds City (Craft Beer & Cocktails)

Claiming their namesake from the village where the brewery took its first steps into the brewing world. Tired of following tradition, Salt has grown from one singular vision, to make great craft beer for everyone in their own way, to an independent brewery, combining heritage and modern brewery craft, crossing the lines between styles and pushing new ingredients. While doing all of that, they’ve managed to earn a plethora of awards along the way.

Salt’s taproom pop up across the UK, and Salt Leeds City is placed ideally on East Parade, where you can enjoy craft beer and perfectly mixed cocktails.
