We are Home Made: Kitty
Here is the next article in our blog series introducing landlords and renters to our fantastic Home Made team! Together, we come from 21 different countries (and counting) and a range of industry backgrounds, and our diversity is our strength. This series showcases the unique individuals at the heart of our mission to make the process of renting and letting property better for everyone. Read on to find out more about the people (and animals) taking care of your property needs.
We'd like to introduce you to Kitty, our office dog (she is aware of the irony and would prefer not to be reminded).
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I’m a German Spitz and proud Londoner. Prior to joining Home Made I worked on various freelance projects from the family home including feline surveillance, interior design (my work is often heinously misrepresented as ‘destroying the furniture’), and content creation for a well-respected brand of pet food.
I’m passionate about excellent customer service and changing a broken industry. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, long walks in the park, and barking at large cats.
Why Home Made?
I've seen my family get frustrated time and again when renting and letting property with traditional agents that charge extortionate fees for terrible service. Issues included dishonest viewing feedback, costly void periods incurred through inefficiency, and having to wait 2.5 dog years to receive a contract. Consequently, I was an early cheerleader of Home Made’s efforts to make the process better for everyone.
I don’t like it when humans are sad and it seems as though renting and letting property stresses a lot of them out. That’s why I like to contribute to Home Made’s mission to make renting a happier experience by boosting company morale with my restorative presence.
What makes us unique?
Our energetic company culture, high conversion rates, and commitment to putting the customer first! Oh, and treats - we always have plenty of treats!
What is your favourite area in London and why?
Wimbledon - I love stray tennis balls and it has the highest number per capita in the entire city.
Fun fact:
I recently took a 23 and Me DNA test and discovered that I’m 12% fox.
